And within one hour of the contest being advertised on their website, scores of hopefuls texted the competition line for a chance to win a once in a life-time experience with a sculptor whose recent credits include The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and Peter Jacksons epic King Kong. I get asked all the time for advice on how to sculpt this creature or that character Says Nimbas Projects Manager Tom Lauten. And as much as I would love to take the time to help each person, it just isnt practical.
This way, I get to not only give the advice that a budding artist might need, but show them how I would do it, let them try and then guide them right there and then. I am really looking forward to helping the winner learn a vast amount in a short period of time, because there is no better way to learn than being hands on.
